Stripping Revisited

So as I did some homework I discovered a couple of additional things.

As I tried to describe before, when you allow the stripper to dry without scraping, the paint rehardens making it even harder to get off and causing the wood to dry out.  So keep the area wet with stripper.

Also, I did this incorrectly, you should fully strip an area at a time then move to the next.  So use the gel until you get 95% off, then move to a liquid stripper to get off the remaining.
In other words, you see residue on mine when I did the whole piece in stages, I would be better off doing one of the three legs until totally complete.

Happy weekend!

My daughter is turning one this weekend, wowza.  What are you up to?
